Community Culture and Convenience

Guadalupe is a small community of approximately 5,500 residents and is situated between Phoenix and Tempe at the base of South Mountain.

This charming community has a rich local history and culture and still ties a lot of its cultural identity to its origins. The town itself is named after the Virgin of Guadalupe, the patron saint of Mexico. First incorporated in 1975, Guadalupe is small at approximately 1 square wide. This isn’t changing anytime soon–man-made boundaries such as I-10, Phoenix to the west, Baseline Road and Tempe to the north South Mountain to the south, and the Salt River Project’s highland Canal to the east.

Guadalupe is primarily residential, most of the residents enjoying its convenience to Phoenix, as well as its rural serenity.
